It was a humid night. All you could hear was the engines of the hover craft. Fans in pandemonium wrapped around the galaxy colleseum... it was April 20th, 3048. The day the fate of our race would be decided. All of the pressure had been put on my shoulders. I am Kevin Phoenix. I was chosen to race in the 16th annual Galaxy Space Race. Which had taken place on the Nebula of Voltron. But this was no normal race. No trophy was awarded.
The winner of the Space Race was granted to go home peacefully. But thats just the thing, home. The losers of the race would have their home planet vaporized or taken as slaves to work for the almighty Space God. Collossus. He was the size of Pluto. The Planet of what used to be home of the Aquatic species, the Glorfanoids. There were life forms of all sorts here. Humans of Earth, Glorfanoids of Sector 9, Giant insecticide life forms of Saturn, Cyclops of Venus and so on. We all thought the same thoughts and had the same objectives. Win the race and to stay alive. No matter what.
As I turn on my V9 carborator a bright blue unestinguishable flame burst through the tail pipe. I make we contact with the other competitors and wait for the Spectators to count down. I look out the window, starring at my wife Malinda. Knowing that this may be the last time I ever see her. I then focus on the obsticle corse. And not looking back. I hear the alien spectators count down to start the race. 5...4...3...2...1... blast off!

Living With Siblings
Mr. Potter assigned the class to blog about what its like living with siblings. This should be a pretty easy. People usually don't believe me but I have 12 siblings! I only live with two though. I love all of them. Its only four us that are still kids. I live with my only full blood sibling and my little sister, Taj and Johanna. Taj, my 12 year old little brother. Is my bestfriend in the world by far. I know him better than he knows himself haha. We have that brother bond that you see on movies, tv etc. We fight here and there too, but what siblings don't? Thats just crazy. If were together were probably playing 2K11 or Call of Duty Black Ops. Johanna, my baby sister is a year and 2 months. I love her more than....... probably anything I've ever loved. Our sibling relationship is like I'm her guardian angel thats just alive haha. She's the most hyperactive baby I've ever seen! You literally can not leave ANYTHING around her. If you do she will either eat it, claim it as hers or destroy it! She's also very funny! I think she was just born that way. She's always running singing and laughing. How could someone dislike such innocence like that? haha. I never really grew up with my older siblings because they lived in a different city. Which is my hometown of Akron Ohio. We all atleast go ta chance to have some kind of bonding time with each other though. My big sisters look at me as the baby haha.
Greatest Cartoons
In class Mr. Potter assigned a blog topic to the class talking about the best cartoons we had while growing up. In my opinion cartoons from a long time ago are 100000000x better than the cartoons now. They're all the same. It's always just something random happening with no point to it. Back when I was younger all I watched was cartoons and the variety was CRAZY! We had Johnny Bravo, Dragonball Z, The Jetsons, The Flintstones, Digimon, Ed Edd & Eddy, Rocko's Modern Life, Cat Dog, Captain Planet, Thundercats, Transformers and soooo many more! Yes, I was into cartoons that were before my time haha. Classic cartoons have even influenced some of the music we listen to today. People don't realize that some song instrumentals are sampled from childhood cartoons. Also, the cartoons today have too many suggestive themes. I've seen reckless things on cartoons. Even though the message isn't straight forward I know that some kids that are smart enough will catch on to it. I know I would have as a kid. But as far as the BEST cartoon ever made. I think that is impossible to say because there were so many great cartoons made over time! But the best cartoons definitely range from the 70's to 90's !

Makeup Blog
Okay, I have decided to make a goal for myself. I will do a blog every week from here on out! Starting with this one :D In class were reading short stories and working on grammar. Which is cool for me because I'm really good at it. So I just find that as a easy grade. As far as blogs go though o_0..... We were watching the movie War Games which I found a GREAT movie! In my opinion the theme was technology can be a negative thing at times. Meaning that one day technology will take over to where the human race will be obsolete. We are too dependent on electronics now. I realized that everything I've learned in this class has been used outside of it. Which is a really good thing! But I reeeeeaallllyyyy need to stay up on these blogs! With the right dedication, I'm sure I can make it happen and turn my grade around!

Mysteries
In english class were going over one of my favorite things to read, mysteries. The best part is were not reading books ! Just short stories! I've actually liked all of the stories we've read so far. I wish we could read Dr. Jekyll & Mr.Hyde though. I think that would fall perfectly into what were doing in class. I think we might go over Edgar Allan Poe. But that won't be anything new I've known about him since 7th grade lol. I don't have a problem with anything were doing on this unit because everythign were reading interests me. I'm sure I'm not the only one who hopes we dont read Shakespeare either !!! The story we read today was good also ! It reminded me of house of wax. I wouldn't hsve expected the old lady to stuff people after she kills them.
